2027 Armada Antimatter 84 R Skiswith EM10 Bindings

The Armada Antimatter 84 is a do-it-all ski built to handle whatever a wide range of skiers can throw at it. The mid-width waist makes it nimble enough for groomed trails and stable enough for the occasional venture into softer snow, while the relaxed shape makes turns feel approachable from the first run. A reinforced edge and a tough topsheet help mitigate the inevitable dings and scratches of the learning process, and the ski stands up to repeated tunes and rough handling without losing its personality. The result is a friendly, capable ski that gives newer skiers a confident and fun day on snow.

Who it's for:

Newer skiers who want one ski for the whole resort, plus shops and families looking for something that holds up. It suits beginners through intermediates who spend most of their time on groomers with occasional soft-snow detours.

Things to consider:

Toughness carries a small weight penalty next to a premium all-mountain ski, and a strong skier will find the limit before long. The mid-width waist also splits the difference, so it neither carves like a dedicated frontside ski nor floats like a wider one.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Keeping this ski at or just under the skier's height makes turns quicker and stopping more straightforward, which matters more than stability early on. Skiers already comfortable at speed can take the next length up without losing much agility.
