DESCRIPTION

The 2027 Atomic Cloud Q11 is a women's-specific premium frontside ski for advanced skiers who want top-end Atomic performance in a women's-tuned package. Built around the same All-Condition Piste Shape used across the Cloud Q line, it's a serious groomer ski that's still accessible at real-world speeds.

Why we like it:

The Light Woodcore construction makes the ski noticeably easier to flex and maneuver than a heavier metal-laminate carver, which means less effort and more fun on a long groomer day. It rewards solid technique without demanding it.

Who it's for:

Advanced women skiers who spend most of their time on groomers and want a premium-feeling carver that doesn't punish them for less-than-perfect technique. Ideal for skiers who want to feel the snow without being beaten up by it.

Highlights:

The Cloud Q11 uses Atomic's All-Condition Piste Shape, which gives the ski stable edge hold with enough tip and tail width to handle variable conditions. The Light Woodcore is the standout construction feature here, keeping the ski noticeably lighter than the Power Woodcore in the Redster Q-series. That's a real benefit for women skiers who want premium feel without a ski that fights back. TI Powered titanal construction adds the right amount of torsional stiffness for solid edge hold. Dura Cap sidewalls and a World Cup Base Finish round out a really premium build.

Things to consider:

Built specifically for women, with a softer flex and lighter construction than the Redster Q-series. Aggressive expert skiers looking for maximum performance should look at a higher-tier Cloud Q or step into the Redster line.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Skis true to length. Pick the size that matches your usual carver.

Did this length feel short, long, or just right? Would you recommend sizing up or down, or does it ski "true to size?" Would you choose this length for yourself?
A teeny bit short, would be curious to try the next length

What's your first impression of this ski? How did it feel?
Another fun ski from Atomic! The Q11 is very responsive and quick feeling, interestingly this ski doesn’t have the Revoshock and I did notice a bit more chatter and feedback in chunky ice compared to the C9 I just skied…so, Revoshock works! Anyway, this was a very balanced ski with medium energy that tackled the variable conditions with confidence.
For what type of terrain would you recommend this ski? Why does it perform well in that terrain?
These are great for groomers, they were surprisingly capable and stable in variable snow. I think they’d do fine in a little bit of fresh snow bit this is really a frontside ski.
What's the appropriate ability level and/or style for this ski? Why is it appropriate for that type of skier?
Intermediate to advanced, very accessible but still feels fun and supportive at higher speeds.
If you could change anything about these skis, what would you change and why?
Add Revoshock!
