2027 Head Joy Easy JRS Skiswith JRS 4.5 Bindings

The Head Joy Easy JRS is a beginner-friendly girls' ski built to make learning to ski feel fun rather than frustrating. It is light enough for young skiers to actually steer rather than being pushed around by the ski, and the shape is designed so turns start with very little effort. The geometry is tuned specifically for junior bodies rather than being a shrunken-down adult ski, which means it responds the way a kid expects when she leans, turns, or stops. It is a confidence-building first ski for girls who are starting to make linked turns and want to keep getting better.

Who it's for:

Young girls making their first linked turns who want to keep getting better. It's a beginner ski, so it suits a child still assembling the basic movements rather than one already skiing full trails confidently.

Things to consider:

It's a beginner ski in every respect, which means a girl who starts skiing faster or wanting real grip through an arc will be ready for the next model sooner than a parent might expect. Narrow and on-piste, it has nothing to offer once the snow softens.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Stand the ski next to the skier: for a beginner this age the tip should reach around the chin, and no higher than the nose. A child who is tentative belongs at the low end of that window, since progress comes from a ski she can move.
